Taken from Dr. Tim Kimmel’s book Why Christian Kids Rebel (of course).

1. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
2. Ask for forgiveness for any ways you’ve failed them.
3. Let consequences do their job.
4. When in doubt about #3, turn to the Bible.
5. Don’t add bitterness to their rebellion.
6. Don’t let the rebellious child’s behavior ruin other relationships.
7. Make sure they know that they always have a place to repent.
8. Be willing to be used of God to help others.
9. Make your life more attractive than theirs.
10. Don’t give up.
